Classroom Training Courses

At Life|ware U campus here in Columbus, OH classes are hosted regularly.  Of course, the big advantage you get from coming to a factory training is not only the practical hands on experience but also spending quality face time with those who know the Life|ware model the best. 

There are currently two classroom offerings a Media Center Essentials course and Life|ware Certification.

The Media Center course is a new one day elective class that is designed to familiarize dealers with the Media Center environment including setup, optimization, CableCard, DRM and integration with Life|ware.  Student who are not familiar with Media Center or simply want to know more about Media Center are encouraged to attend.  Media Center classes are conveniently scheduled the day before Life|ware certification classes so dealers can attend the same week they come for their certification.

The Life|ware Certification course is a three-day required course for those who wish to sell and install Life|ware.  Classes have been expanded to include system design as well as configuration.  In this course we will spend one full day learning about the entire digital entertainment and automation environment through lecture and hands-on exercises.  Two additional days will be spent learning to configure the Life|ware software application.

We encourage anyone who is new to the industry to join us in Columbus for an informative and enjoyable time learning how to make Life|ware part of your business model.

Online Training Courses

Life|ware U is currently developing new online courses that will allow dealers to get their Life|ware certification without the need to make the trip to Columbus, OH.  While we feel the best education comes from classroom interactions we understand that the time is not always a feasible option for some dealers.

Look for the certification courses early in 2008 as well as additional courses as the year moves on covering Life|ware hardware, Media Center and Life|ware supported partners.
