My iPhone will not connect to the server.
- Check the network settings and make sure the iPhone doesn’t have a static IP address.
- Verify that the Life|ware version is 2.0.6 or greater.
- Verify that the iPhone firmware is 3.0 or greater.
Procedure to try:
- Restart services, then disassociate and re-associate the Life|ware client to the server.
I am not receiving metadata from NuVo.
Procedure to try:
- Stop and restart Media Player Host, EI Service and Discovery Provider. Then reboot NuVo.
I cannot connect a client to the server.
- Verify that the client is running the same version of Life|ware as the server.
Procedure to try:
- Stop and start Discovery Provider on the server and client. Allow plenty of time for connection.
I am unable to test UDI devices in the Life|ware Visual Project template creator.
This is a known bug in Life|ware 2.0.6.
How do I get a controller out of headless mode?
Procedure to try:
- Power down the controller.
- Connect a VGA monitor.
- Power up the controller.
- Wait 1 to 3 minutes.
- Type password, then hit Enter.
- Wait 1 to 3 minutes.
- Press Ctrl+Alt+F1.
